Wounded healers

Doctors lead most vulnerable and hectic life.They are face to face with death everyday. They are overworked, sleep deprived , mentally drained and what still they sacrifice everything to take care of patients. They have no family life ,no social life.Because they give priority to their jobs than anything else. In a country like India where doctor patient ratio is really at stake ,and we are behind Bangladesh and srilanka in terms of healthcare index.They are really wounded healers.My salute to all those wounded healers.

World hypertension day

Yesterday was world hypertension day. Hypertension as a disease is increasing at alarming rate. Hypertension can lead to almost anything like heart disease, kidney disease, paralysis and many other. Today as we are living in age of digitalisation, still our awareness about hypertension is lacking. In series of articles in next few weeks I will try to educate you about hypertension.
